Account → Plan & Payments is where Owners and Co-owners manage a Client's subscription: choosing or changing a plan, turning add-ons on or off, paying for multiple Clients on one invoice, and viewing the saved payment method and billing history. Only an Owner or Co-owner can make changes; anyone with billing access can view the page.
Important: If you're a ROOK Legacy client, don't worry — this section isn't meant to appear in your portal.
What plans and add-ons are available?
The portal offers several plan tiers, each one unlocking more of the Products and Setup: Webhooks add-ons: Notification Webhook, Granular Data, Steps Events, Medical Devices, Clinical Ready, Lab Data, Branded Auth, Basic Auth, Multiple Accounts, ROOK Scores, User Profile, Health Monitoring, and more. If a Client has no plan yet, the Plan & Payments page shows the plan picker directly instead of a subscription.
What do the three tabs on the Plan & Payments page show?
Tab | Shows |
Subscription | Current plan, its add-ons, upgrade/downgrade, cancel. |
Payment | The saved card. |
Billing history | Past invoices. |
How do I change my plan?
From the Subscription tab, open the plan picker to choose a different tier. A plan change is scheduled, not instant — you'll see a confirmation before it applies, and you can go back to your current subscription without changing anything.
How do add-ons work on this page?
Toggle each on/off independently from the plan itself. Turning one off doesn't cancel it immediately — it stops renewing at the end of the current period; turning one on applies right away (or after a confirmation if it isn't free).
What happens when I cancel my subscription?
Cancel subscription doesn't cut you off immediately: access stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you can resume any time before then. If this Client is part of a group payment, you can instead remove just this Client without touching the others.
How do I pay for several Clients at once?
Plan & Payments → Pay for multiple Clients (shown when you own 2+ Clients) → Checkout. Pick which Clients and which add-ons; one card, one invoice, one renewal date for all of them.
Where do I manage my payment method?
Account → Plan & Payments → Payment Method. The card charged for recurring billing, saved and processed through Stripe — ROOK never stores card numbers directly.
Where do I see my billing history?
Account → Plan & Payments → Billing History. Every past invoice for this Client.
Why can't I manage my own plan or billing?
Don't worry if you don't see plan, add-on or billing options here — just reach out to your account manager.
What happens if an invoice goes unpaid?
An unpaid invoice shows a banner counting down to the next consequence. Left unresolved, access degrades in stages: Sandbox is suspended first, then Production, then webhook delivery stops, and finally the subscription is cancelled. Updating your payment method at any point restores full access.
