While users can disconnect from the application and their associated data sources, we understand that there are situations where our clients specifically want to unlink a user. To address this, we've developed an endpoint that allows our clients to seamlessly unlink any user and their associated data sources at their discretion.

How does this endpoint work? We will divide this into two key points:

1. Scope and Operation:

  • This endpoint enables you to unlink a user from any linked data source.

  • If a user is linked to multiple data sources, the client can choose which one to unlink the user from.

  • Once the user is unlinked, the user will be deleted. Therefore, the client must have the user's information stored in its database to still access the previously generated data afterwards.

  • When a user is unlinked, they are considered inactive to us since we are not receiving any further information. Consequently, there will be no charges for this user.

  • If a user unlinks, they can link again without any problem.

2. Documentation:

  • All data sources are unlinked immediately upon receipt. However, disconnecting from a data source (e.g. Withings) may take between 30 minutes and 2 hours to be reflected. This delay is an inherent functionality that has been established.
